Mike Goodall projects the sincerity and confidence of a builder who is truly at ease with his clients and his craft. He guides each new customer through their home building adventure by listening and responding to their unique needs and concerns, drawing upon years of direct experience on the building site.
Mike is originally from the Jackson area where he was a student at the Jackson Career Center's
Building Trades Program. After graduation, Mike had the opportunity to travel to Alaska where
he lived for 3 ½ years. While living there he had a job framing houses near Anchorage, and even
worked on a school up on the North Slope.
Mike decided that Michigan was the place for him so he came home and began framing homes in
the Lansing area. In 1985 he became president and owner of, Goodall Construction Company, Inc. In 1987 he built his first 'spec' home called the 'Stoneoak' for the Lansing Parade of Homes. He has been participating in the Parade ever since.
Mike has two children and he and his wife are happy to call the Lansing area home. Mike has
lived Delhi Township for the past 15 years.
Mike is currently a member of the Greater Lansing Home Builders Association, the Michigan
Association of Home Builders, the National Association of Home Builders and the Delhi Charter
Township Planning Commission. He was on the Board of Directors for the Lansing Home
Builders Association from 1994 -2003. Mike was also a past president of the Greater Lansing
Home Builders Association and a member of the Delhi Charter Township Fire Review Board.
Mike feels a strong asset he offers his customers is his availability and the wide range of
practical experience and knowledge he brings to each project. As he has found repeatedly,
most customers simply want to be informed. It's part of the job that comes naturally to Mike
Goodall. He affirms, "I like to be on the job site in the evening, because that's when the people
come by to see their home being built. That way I'm right there to answer their questions. I
enjoy being out there with the people, not sitting behind a desk all day. With home building,
it's something different every day!"
